Personal Background: I am originally from Magnolia, Arkansas and attended the E. Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas, where I met my wife Laurie her freshman year. When we graduated, we ended up in Tallahassee for Laurie to attend Florida State University College of Law. Our intentions were to reside here for three years and then return to Arkansas. We fell in love with Tallahassee and have lived here for more than thirty years. I have served in leadership positions at the local and state level for the American Institute of Architects and as a Code Magistrate for the City of Tallahassee. I am an avid golfer and enjoy cooking, traveling, and finding unique food and live music venues.
