Retired

I Retired from the painting business after 43 years as the owner of Expressit Painting. During my tenure we painted 100’s of houses and buildings and had the painting contract for Walgreens. I loved the business and am happily retired. Our Mission Statement was; “To do the best job possible without any shortcuts.” My retired Mission Statement is; “Seasoned Citizen at your service.”

Personal Background: I was born in Tallahassee in 1946 at the old Dale Mabry Army Air Corp Hospital. My Dad was recently separated from the US Army Air Corps as a Squadron Commander. He flew  with the Flying Tigers in China. Stateside he continued Squadron Commander and trained new recruits in P140’s and the P51. My mother was a graduate form Leon High School and while attending Florida State Collage For Women she met the dashing Major Joe Cooper at a Collage dance. I am the oldest of 5 children. A proud Vietnam Veteran from the US Air Force. Graduate from Leon High School, Tallahassee Junior College and Florida State University. Growing up I loved Drag Racing, Dirt track racing, boating and golf.
